Dan T. Cathy, Chairman of Chick-fil-A, Inc. since 2013, has guided the family-owned business to become a top quick-service restaurant, earning accolades for customer service and workplace excellence. Beginning his Chick-fil-A journey as a child in the original “Dwarf House” restaurant, Dan advanced through leadership roles, including President and COO. A passionate community advocate, he collaborates with Atlanta organizations to revitalize the Historic Westside and foster opportunities. Dan serves on various nonprofit and civic boards and has received numerous awards for leadership and service, including the Zig Ziglar Servant Leadership Award. A graduate of Georgia Southern University and Harvard’s Family Business Program, he holds honorary degrees from multiple institutions and shares the distinction with his father, S. Truett Cathy, of being inducted as a Georgia Trustee.
