William "Franklin" Graham III, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse, is an evangelist, author, and international relief worker. Born on July 14, 1952, in Asheville, North Carolina, as the son of the late Billy and Ruth Bell Graham, Franklin committed his life to Christ at 22 after a period of rebellion. He has since led Samaritan’s Purse in providing aid in over 100 countries and shared the Gospel at more than 275 events worldwide. Known for addressing moral and social issues, Franklin is also the author of numerous books and editor-in-chief of Decision magazine. He lives in Boone, North Carolina, with his wife, Jane, and has four children and 13 grandchildren.
